Job Description / Responsibility
- Chief Financial Officer (AVP) for Accounts and Finance Division.
- Overall responsibility for independently managing the activities of the Accounts and Finance Division of BIFFL including but not limited to:
- Planning, budgeting and monitoring of achieving financial target.
- All internal financial reporting including periodic MIS.
- All external reporting particularly to Bangladesh Bank.
- Quarterly, Half-Yearly and Annual Financial Reporting in compliance with IFRS/ BFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Dealing with internal, external and Bangladesh Bank audits.
- Preparation of Annual Report.
- To have sound knowledge of asset-liability management of the FIs.
- In depth knowledge on Accounting & Financial rules, regulations of Bangladesh Bank and well conversant with Income Tax Law, VAT, Banking Companies Act and other regulatory provisions.
- To have sound knowledge about CAMELS rating reporting, ICCAP, BASEL II & III and Stress testing reporting;
- Should be able to manage books of accounts and ensure transparent financial reporting in line with business and regulatory requirements;
- Ability to formulate financial strategy, business plan/budget & supporting policies and procedures;
- To liaise with the Bangladesh Bank & other Schedule Banks, NBFI, Local & International Donors and other Govt./Semi-Govt./Autonomous Agencies as per requirement of the organization.

Educational Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with post graduate/ 4-year Honours degree in Banking/ Finance/Accounting from any reputed public/ private universities.
Experience Requirements
- At least 6 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
- Excellent ability in speaking and writing in English and Bengali.
- Capable of multi-tasking with strong presentation skill.
- Excellent proficiency in computer literacy and communication.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in Bank/ NBFI in Accounts & Finance Division of which 2 (two) years? experience as Senior Principal Officer (SPO)/ similar post.
