Job Description / Responsibility
- Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB), one of the leading national NGOs is looking for competent young candidates to assist ongoing research activities of Climate Change Unit of CCDB
- The Candidates should be a recent graduate (Bachelor or Masters degree completed in 2015/2016) or a full-time Masters by Research student with no coursework involvement
- Assist in research activities related to literature review, field data collection & analysis, report writing
- Be involved in any of the following research: i. Livestock and Climate Change, ii. Climate-resilient cropping pattern, iii. ICT and climate change adaptation, iv. Insurance and climate change adaptation. v. Climate change induced loss and damage
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

- Candidates from the following disciplines from any reputed university should apply:
- Agriculture/ livestock/ Banking and Insurance/ Finance/ Information Technology/ Information and Communication technology (ICT)/ Social Science/ Marine Science/ Geography/ Environmental Science & Management/ Disaster Management/ Climate Change/ Environmental Engineering
Additional Job Requirements
- Shall have to take extensive travel to rural and remote areas of Bangladesh
- Understanding on research methodology, qualitative and quantitative research
- Good understanding of agricultural research systems in Bangladesh (specially for Research on Livestock and Climate Change & Research on Climate-resilient cropping pattern)
- Demonstrable understanding on field survey tools (including PRA, FGD, KII, Case study)
- Data analysis and academic writing skills (specially for (specially for Research on Livestock and Climate Change & Research on Climate-resilient cropping pattern position)
- Excellent skill in MS office,
- Skill on SPSS & Knowledge on data analysis and report writing is desirable
- Equipped with personal Laptop and Internet facilities to work outside the office environment
- Must have good command in writing academic English
- Note:

Salary Range
Tk. 16000 - 20000
Other Benefits
- BDT 16,000 - 20,000.00/month based on educational achievements (No additional benefit will be provided). During field travel, per diem would be provided according to organizational policy.
